Korea Broadcast Journalist Delegation - Electrification in Sweden
Stockholm & Gothenburg, September 22–26, 2025 — The Sweden+Korea Green Transition Alliance hosted the Korea Broadcast Journalist Delegation for an in-depth program on Electrification, in collaboration with the Korea Broadcast Journalist Association and the Energy Transition Forum.
As part of Team Sweden’s fourth initiative to showcase Swedish leadership in electrification and green transition, a media delegation program was co-hosted with the Korea Broadcast Journalist Association and the Energy Transition Forum. Ten journalists from nine leading Korean media outlets were selected through a competitive process.
Over five days in Stockholm and Gothenburg, the delegation engaged with twelve Swedish representatives from government, industry, and research institutions. The program featured site visits and expert dialogues on topics such as electrified transport, HVDC technology, regional electricity pricing, and industrial decarbonization, highlighting Sweden’s collaborative “triple helix” approach.
The initiative resulted in 18 published articles across television, print, and online platforms, significantly raising awareness of Swedish innovation and its relevance to Korea’s energy transition and carbon neutrality goals. Participant feedback reflected high satisfaction with the program’s organization, content, and practical value for future reporting.
